Patty Noble Funck, LCSW
Owner/Operator:
Patty has worked in the medical field in Lubbock since
1984. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from Texas Tech
University in 1983 and her Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake
University in San Antonio in 1994. Patty’s experience includes nine years
of hospital social work and familiarity with medical diagnoses, mental
health issues, and medical professionals. Patty has worked providing
medical social work services to local home health agencies since 1994,
owning her business since 1996. She has provided contract social work
services to home health agencies, hospices, hospitals, and Meals on Wheels.
In 1999, Patty joined the National Association of Professional Geriatric
Care Managers and began providing geriatric care management services
additionally. She has been active in the local organization of Medical
Social Workers and the Lubbock chapter of National Association of Social
Workers (NASW), holding offices several times. In particular, Patty is
skilled in working with dementia/Alzheimer’s situations and caregiver issues.
Patty is a life-long resident of Lubbock and has assisted in meeting care
needs for her own parents and her in-laws. Patty’s husband is an
agricultural engineer who is self-employed in the drip irrigation business,
and they have two sons.

Joyce Atkinson, LBSW Geriatic Care Manager:
Joyce
graduated from Texas Tech University in 1978 with a Bachelor's
Degree in Social Welfare. She is a licensed social worker.
Joyce joined Noble Care Solutions in 2004. She primarily practices
Geriatric Care Management. She has also provided social work
services for patients in home health and hospital settings, as well
as performing assessments for Meals on Wheels. Joyce has a
passion for working with older people. She
finds satisfaction in helping families and those responsible for
older people meet the needs of their loved ones. Joyce strives to
meet the individualized needs of all clients.
Joyce has past experience working with the
Texas Health and Human Services Commission. She has utilized her
Texas Teaching Certification teaching homebound students and adult
education classes.
Joyce has extensive volunteer experience in
the community and her church. She has used her social work
skills volunteering in many different settings and with different
populations of our society. She enjoys continuing to volunteer in
several areas where she knows she makes a difference for others.
